A trip is a displacement in space, constrained, carried out to a more or less distant point for a personal purpose (for example tourism) or professional (business) or other (war, political or climatic refugees), displacements motivated by activities sports or socio-cultural events or major events.
While the number of inaccessible, uncharted or unknown areas was decreasing, the journey was considerably expanded and democratized, during the twentieth century with the advent of modern means of transport increasingly fast and comfortable, the railroad first, then the automobile and the plane. This evolution was made with increasing negative consequences in terms of energy consumption and fossil fuels, fragmentation of landscapes and ecosystems by transport and emission infrastructures.
Greece is a country in southeastern Europe, made up of thousands of islands dotting the Aegean and Ionian seas. Influential during Antiquity, it is often nicknamed the cradle of Western civilization. Athens, its capital, includes many sites of interest, including the Acropolis, dating from the fifth century BC, where the Parthenon is located. Greece is also known for its beaches, stretches of black sand from Santorini to lively complexes of Mykonos.
