Small-final, Croatia - Morocco (2-1): Morocco finished in 4th place and Croatia finished in 3rd place!

Vice-world champion in 2018, Croatia won 3rd place in the 2022 World Cup by beating Morocco 2-1. Surprise team of this tournament, Morocco has therefore failed to write a little more history after being the 1st African team to reach the semi-finals of a World Cup.

Morocco wrote history and opened a new era for African football.
Morocco were the sensation of the 2022 World Cup, with a fourth place.

A new story now begins for all of African football. A glass ceiling was shattered at the 2022 World Cup.

While his choice was not unanimous, the referee of the match of the small final of the 2022 World Cup, the Qatari Abdulrahman Al-Jassim, was not too good in this meeting.
The end of the match was tense, the Moroccans even crowding around the referee in the 84th minute to contest a decision against them.
Mistakes among many others made by the Qatari whistle will certainly make people talk.

Morocco eliminated and France join Argentina in the final

Solid in defense and clinical in attack, France eliminates Morocco which made a great World Cup and offers itself a 4th World Cup final.
If the disappointment is great in Morocco following the defeat in the semi-final of the World Cup against France, the Moroccan people are above all proud of the historic journey of their national team.
Their hopes are showered, like the waterspouts that fell on Morocco on Wednesday, but the Atlas Lions have won the hearts of the Moroccan people and beyond the borders of the Cherifian kingdom.
The Blues will challenge Argentina on Sunday in the final.

Morocco - Portugal (1-0) phenomenal goal by Youssef En-Nesyri

Winners of the Seleção portoguesa in the quarter-finals, the Moroccans became the first Africans to reach the last four of a World Cup. A success won thanks to a single goal, signed Youssef En-Nesyri just before half-time.
A goal for history. It only took one in Morocco against Portugal to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup in Qatar, this Saturday, December 10. The Atlas Lions are the first African nation to qualify for the last four of a World Cup. A resounding feat that Walid Regragui’s men achieved thanks to a close-knit collective, determined to crunch the Seleção of Fernando Santos who had once again chosen to leave his star Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench. The game changed just before halftime.

ADIOS DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA

Diego Maradona died Wednesday at the age of 60. The whimsical and fantastic ‘El Pibe de Oro’ notably won the World Cup in 1986, where his two-sided genius made his legend, before conquering Italy with Naple.
Diego Armando Maradona starts at Argentinos Juniors, a club he joined when he was ten years old. He scored 42 goals in 45 matches in his final season, in 1980.
Diego Armando Maradona started at Argentinos Juniors, a club he joined when he was ten years old. He scored 42 goals in 45 matches in his final season, in 1980.
He was called to the Argentine selection for the first time in 1977, at the age of 16.
At the start of the 1981 season, he left his training club to join Boca Juniors, where he won his first and only title of Argentine champion.
Diego Maradona in his works under the jersey of Boca Juniors.
He crossed the Atlantic in 1982 and joined FC Barcelona, where the dissolute life he led attracted public hostility. He spent two seasons there.
When he arrived in Catalonia, Diego Maradona had just experienced a difficult World Cup. His expulsion against Brazil for a kick in the stomach of Batista had led to the elimination of Argentina during the second group stage (groups of three to designate the semi-finalists).
He ended his Spanish career in 1984 in the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao (1-0 defeat), where he was at the origin of a general fight.
In 1984, Maradona joined Naples for a record sum at the time (12 million dollars). He is greeted as a hero by 70,000 supporters.
Two years after his arrival in Italy, the 1986 World Cup will make him a legend. His “hand of God” against the English, in the quarter-finals, will cause much ink to flow … as much as his second goal, when he reviews the English defense to offer qualification to the Albiceleste (2- 1).
He therefore propels Argentina to the semi-final and then to the final, and lifts the World Cup after a victory (3-2) against the FRG.
In the wake of his world title, Diego Maradona had a dream season with Napoli, who won the first Italian league title in their history ahead of Platini’s Juve.
Maradona achieves the double, winning the Italian Cup against Atalanta.
He won a second league title with Napoli in 1990. Diego Armando Maradona has become a living legend for the Neapolitans.
In 1990, Maradona played her third World Cup in Italy. He found the Germans in the final, but left defeated (0-1).
After this disillusionment, he will play one last season in Naples, where he is sentenced to 15 months of suspension following a positive cocaine test in March 1991.
After eight years in Naples, he returned to Spain, where he will wear the Sevilla FC shirt for a season. The beginning of the decline for Maradona.
He returned to Argentina in 1993, at the Newell’s Old Boys, to compete in the 1994 World Cup in the United States. Unfortunately, the adventure came to an end: he tested positive for ephedrine during the competition. He will never wear the Argentina jersey again.
His suspension served, he joined Boca Juniors in 1995.
Diego Maradona ended his playing career in 1997.
With his playing career over, he spends a lot of time in the Bombonera stands to support Boca Juniors.
Eleven years after hanging up, he was appointed Argentina coach in 2008. He remains in office for two years, before moving to the United Arab Emirates and Mexico.
He had returned to Argentina to train for Gimnasia La Plata. His ultimate club.

President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris delivered their first public remarks on a flag-bedecked

Monday 11/09/2020                                                                          President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris delivered their first public remarks on a flag-bedecked outdoor stage on Saturday night in Wilmington, Delaware.
Speaking 48 years to the day after he was first elected a senator from Delaware, Biden delivered a message of unity and tried to soothe the extraordinary divisions that defined the last 4 years in American politics.
“I pledge to be a president who seeks not to divide, but unify,” he said at the outset of his speech. “Who doesn’t see red states and blue states, only sees the United States.”
Before Biden spoke, Harris addressed the crowd.
“While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last — because every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities,” she said.
Harris’s victory represents a handful of firsts: She will be the first woman, the first Black woman, the first Indian-American woman and the first daughter of immigrants to be sworn in as vice president.

Trump to name former pharma exec Moncef Slaoui as vaccine czar PUBLISHED THU, MAY 14 202 by cnbc

President Donald Trump is set to name a former pharmaceutical executive to lead his administration’s all-out effort to produce and distribute a coronavirus vaccine by the end of the year. Moncef Slaoui, a former GlaxoSmithKline executive, will lead “Operation Warp Speed,” Trump’s push to accelerate the vaccine development process for Covid-19, according to an administration official. Slaoui is to serve in a volunteer capacity, and will be assisted by Army Gen. Gustave Perna, the commander of United States Army Materiel Command.
The move comes as the president and White House aides hope to produce vaccines for the coronavirus faster than what many scientists believe is realistic. The administration is aiming to have 300 million doses to distribute to Americans by the end of the year, believing a reliable vaccine is the only way to promote an economic rebound. “Operation Warp Speed” is operating largely independently of the existing White House coronavirus task force, which is also shifting its focus toward vaccine development.
The initiative is being promoted by White House senior adviser Jared Kushner, and involves officials from the Defense Department and the Department of Health and Human Services. On Tuesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the government’s top infectious disease expert, said a vaccine would not be available by the beginning of the next academic year. “The idea of having treatments available or a vaccine to facilitate re-entry of students into the fall term would be something that would be a bit of a bridge too far,” he said, “even at the top speed we’re going.”

First Coronavirus Deaths on U.S. East Coast

07 Mar 2020

Florida health authorities reported two fatalities from COVID-19 late Friday, marking the first deaths on the East Coast. The total number of reported cases of the coronavirus has risen to at least 308 across the U.S. as authorities grapple with a shortage of tests. The U.S. is also debating what to do with some 3,500 passengers and crew onboard the Grand Princess cruise ship anchored off San Francisco after at least 21 people tested positive for the potentially deadly virus after around 40 people were tested. President Donald Trump had expressed concern over letting them disembark on American soil because of the impact on the total number of cases logged in the U.S.

COPA AMERICA BRASIL 2019: Brazil defeated Peru 3-1 and is the new champion

Brazil is the new CONMEBOL Copa América champion, after beating Peru 3-1 on Sunday, July 7, in a match played at the Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
Goals were scored by Everton (15 PT), Gabriel Jesús (48 PT) and Richarlison (43 PT, penalty). For Peru, Paolo Guerrero scored a penalty (44 PT).
It was a match in which Brazil and Peru played with the same eleven starters they used in the semifinals against Argentina and Chile, respectively.
On the one hand, Gabriel Jesus, Roberto Firmino and Everton were in charge of the Canarinha attack, while Paolo Guerrero was the only striker in the Inca team. In this way, Brazil obtained its ninth title in the CONMEBOL Copa América, achieving the title without defeats and with only one goal conceded in the six games they played. La Canarinha had not reached a Copa America final since Venezuela-2007.

US women’s soccer team wins its fourth World Cup

The United States beat the Netherlands in the 2019 Women’s World Cup on Sunday 2-0, following a month-long tournament that attracted more attention to the sport — and to social issues surrounding the women’s league — than ever before.
The 8th Women’s World Cup, which kicked off on June 7, culminated Sunday evening at Parc Olympique Lyonnais, in France, and resulted in a hard-fought fourth world championship for the US team.
From the outset of the tournament, the US team was favored to win. In their first match against Thailand, they won 13-0, scoring, as some have pointed out, more goals in one game than the men’s team has scored in every World Cup since 2006 combined.

The USWNT is going to the World Cup final after a narrow 2-1 win against England on Tuesday.

TRAVEL BLOGGER

If you think about it, travel bloggers are modern heroes.

We are talking about people who have chosen to leave their homes and loved ones to explore and show us the most secret places in the world instead of working in the office and living a safe (and quite boring) life and giving up what is fundamental for many.

These people write articles for their travel blogs and record videos for YouTube channels at the airport, hotel and places that visit.

Exactly, making the travel blogger is a difficult job that many can not do. In short, these people travel to live, who would like a job like that?
